In the world of print advertising design for magazines, the cover is golden. It is the first thing seen and often one of the most memorable visuals. It is an honor for your product to be featured. In public relations it is equally as rewarding. It is the best marriage of Design, Advertising and Public Relations. Since 2004, I have had the fortune to design magazine cover graphics and illustrations for Linear Technology. Currently, the designs I’ve created at DRB Partners have appeared on over 32 electronics and automotive magazine covers. These publications span Europe. They include British, German, and Italian. A few covers have also have been designed or repurposed to appeared in Asian publications. The design approach is to keep it simple, and communicate the key engineering features, enticing the reader to read the featured article.
